Registration Bug

While 95% of those who have purchased and registered Partitions do not have any trouble with the Registration Bug there are still several users who are running into this problem. So I want to let you know the quickest and most sure way to remove this bug.

1. Contact me via e-mail letting me know that you are seeing this bug
2. Include in your e-mail some sort of proof of purchase (a serial number or copy of the e-mail that you received when you purchased)

Then I will promptly send you a special version of Partitions that has the registration system completely removed and you will be able to continue using Partitions without this pesky bug.

I sincerely apologize that this problem keeps returning but each time we think we have it fixed someone will report that it showing up again. Needless to say, when Partitions 2 is released it WILL NOT be using the Esellerate registration framework.

Partitions Update Available

Late last night we released a new build of the Partitions plugin. This release (build 89) is another maintenance release and concentrates on the registration bug that had been affecting a number of people over the last couple of weeks.

If you already have Partitions installed then all you need to do is open up your project and add a new Partitions page and you should get the update automatically via the Sparkle framework.

If you do not have Partitions yet, then you should download it now and see what you have been missing.

About The Icons

StyledPlus_512x512
Everybody has their "thing", something that they are really good at. Sometimes a person can be so good at something that they excel beyond those around them.

Partitions2_512x512
Such is the case with Adam Shiver from Elixir Graphics and The Icon Lab. Whether it comes through hard work, natural talent, or a combination of both Adam definitely is at the top of the pile when it comes to graphic design.

I have had the privilege to work with Adam on several projects over the last several years and have found that the service he provides is second to none. On each occasion he was able to almost read my mind and provide me the exact "look" that I was wanting.

Both the Styled Text+ and the Partitions icon are the creative work of Adam.

If you are in the market for an icon, logo, or some graphic goodness then let me encourage you to take a few minutes to visit The Icon Lab ... I can recommend them with confidence!

Partitions Update

For all of you Partitions users out there ... we pushed an update last night that addresses the threading issues that many folks were reporting. This is what was causing the "missing plugin" bug and even in some cases was causing projects to not open.

If you have already purchased Partitions then you should be able to open a new project and then add a Partitions page and you will automatically get the update via the Sparkle updater.

But just incase you are having trouble with the Sparkle updater then you can always download the latest build via our Plugin Store.

Partitions Screencasts Are In The Works

Many of you have been asking for some screencasts that will demonstrate how to either use Partitions or how to get the most out of Partitions. Well, they are coming ... I promise!

You will be able to find them here on this website when they are ready.

Partitions Beta Period Has Expired

I want to thank everyone who has helped in the beta testing of Partitions. We feel that it was a huge success and we definitely learned a lot along the way.
Many of you sent us links of how you might use Partitions which was very helpful in determining what features should be added or ignored. Many more of you sent in bug reports and screenshots of things that were not working correctly which helped us to make the proper corrections and then there were a couple of you gurus out there who sent in not only bug reports but also a way that it could be corrected.

To all of you we are very thankful!

The beta sign up page has been removed now to avoid possible confusion from reading other blog posts that talk about the beta program.
